Frequently asked questions
Which resolution should I choose?
1080p (Full HD) for TVs and computers, 720p for phones and messages, and 480p when size matters most.
Does it work for portrait videos?
Yes, the resolution is based on the shorter side, so a 1080 × 1920 portrait video stays at 1080p.
Will the file get smaller?
Yes, significantly. For the smallest possible file, try the Compress tab, where you can also set the quality or a size in MB.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Videos are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
