Frequently asked questions

M4A or MP3?

Phone videos have AAC audio – it’s just rewrapped into M4A with no loss of quality. Choose MP3 when you need the audio for an older player or a car stereo.

Can I save just part of the audio?

Yes, trim the video first with the Edit button – only the selected part is saved.

Does it work for videos without sound?

No – we detect a video without an audio track right away and let you know.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?
