Frequently asked questions

Does it work on music?

Noise reduction is meant for speech – it may distort music. Volume normalization and the Volume slider work on any audio.

Will the picture get worse?

No. Only the audio changes; the picture is copied unchanged when you save the video.

What volume is the video normalized to?

To −16 LUFS, the usual loudness of videos on social media. Peaks are kept in check so the audio doesn’t distort.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. Videos are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
