Frequently asked questions

Will I lose quality?

Usually not: if the clip starts near a keyframe, it’s just rewrapped. Otherwise it’s re-encoded at high quality so the trim is exact.

Can I compress the clip at the same time?

Yes. Choose Just set the edits, then Compress or Convert in the settings – the edit is applied only to the selected part.

Can I save a frame from the video?

Yes. In the editor, the JPG frame or PNG button saves an image at the playback position, in full resolution.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. Videos are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
