Frequently asked questions

Will rotating reduce the quality?

No. For MP4 and MOV, the rotation is written into the file and the picture isn’t re-encoded, so it’s instant and lossless.

Will the rotated video play everywhere?

Yes, all common players, phones and browsers respect the rotation flag.

Can I rotate WebM too?

Yes, but WebM has no rotation flag, so the picture is re-encoded – it takes longer.

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. Videos are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
