Frequently asked questions
Does my video have a location?
Videos from iPhones and most Android phones store it if the camera has location access. A video with a location shows the Location label.
What exactly is removed?
The GPS location, recording date and time, phone make and model, software version and other container metadata. The picture and sound don’t change.
Is the location removed with other edits too?
Yes, every compression, conversion, trim and edit saves the video without the location and metadata.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Videos are processed right in your browser and never leave your device. Only the tool itself is downloaded from our server, the same for everyone. More in the privacy policy.
